Advisor is guidance from ExamMint — the same people who build the document tools you already use. Here is exactly how it reasons, and what it refuses to do.
Hard eligibility first
If your education, age, or category disqualifies you, the exam never appears. No false hope, no "you might qualify" hedging.
Ranked by subject fit
Among exams you qualify for, we rank by how many of your strong subjects appear in the syllabus. Easier exams break ties.
Open about its limits
Advisor uses general requirements from recent notifications. It is a starting point, not an official word. Always verify before applying.
- Push you toward popular exams regardless of fit
- Ask you to sign up or share contact details
- Recommend paid courses or coaching
- Store your answers, on this device or anywhere else
Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about eligibility, calculations, or data privacy? Here are quick, honest answers.
How does ExamMint Advisor work?
Advisor matches your educational qualifications, academic marks, birthdate, reservation category, home state, and strong subjects against a curated database of 36+ major competitive exams. It filters out exams you are ineligible for and ranks the remaining matches based on how closely your strong subjects align with their syllabus patterns.
Is my personal data safe on this website?
Yes, 100%. We believe in privacy-first guidance. All matching calculations, date evaluations, and checklist savings run locally inside your browser's memory and local storage. No names, phone numbers, email addresses, or profile details are ever sent to a server.
Do you charge any fees or sell coaching courses?
No, Advisor is 100% free, clean, and honest. We do not sell courses, test series, or coaching materials, and we do not have a bias toward any coaching institute. The ranking is based entirely on objective fit scores.
Which competitive exams are covered?
We support 36+ major Central and State government exams in India, including SSC (CGL, CHSL, MTS, CPO, JE, GD), Banking (IBPS PO/Clerk/SO, SBI PO/Clerk, RBI Grade B/Assistant), Railways (RRB NTPC, ALP, JE, Group D), Teaching (CTET, DSSSB, KVS, NVS), Defence/Uniform (NDA, CDS, AFCAT, Delhi Police, WBP Constable), and State Civil Services (WBCS, BPSC, UPPSC, MPSC).
How are category-wise age relaxations calculated?
We match your date of birth against the exact cutoff reference date specified in each exam's official notification. If you select a category (such as OBC, SC, ST, PwD, or Ex-Servicemen), we automatically add the allowed relaxation years to the maximum age limit before checking your eligibility.
How is the syllabus fit score computed?
We match the subjects you mark as your strengths against the primary modules of each exam's syllabus (e.g. Maths, English, GK, Reasoning, etc.). The fit score is computed with 70% weight on subject alignment and 30% weight on your remaining age attempt buffer, prioritizing exams you are closer to aging out of.
