How does Advisor calculate my eligibility?
We cross-check your profile against the strict rules in the official notifications. This includes exact educational degree streams, academic marks cutoffs (e.g. 60% for RBI Grade B), precise date of birth calculations based on exam-specific cutoff dates (like Jan 1 or Aug 1), and physical/vision constraints for police/defence roles.
How does the Home State reservation rule work?
In India, state-level reservation benefits (OBC, SC, ST) are only valid for native candidates of that state. If you apply for an out-of-state exam (e.g., a candidate from Bihar applying for WBPSC), Advisor automatically evaluates you under the General (UR) category, removing category relaxations to prevent false positives.
Will my personal information or checklist be saved?
All logic runs 100% locally in your browser. No details are transmitted to any servers. Your saved study checklists are stored client-side in your browser's local storage, meaning you track progress without signing up or exposing your data.
Can I export my results?
Yes. Clicking "Export Card" on the results screen uses HTML Canvas to render a high-resolution, double-bordered infographic card of your profile and top matches, which downloads directly as a shareable PNG image.
