Compare exams I already know
Torn between a few options? Pick two to five exams, add your profile, and Advisor ranks them by how well each fits you.
About the Compare Tool
Many times, government job aspirants in India prepare for multiple exams together (e.g., SSC CGL and Bank PO, or WBPSC and RRB NTPC). The ExamMint Compare Tool helps you compare 2 to 5 specific exams side-by-side. It takes your educational qualifications, stream, academic marks, birthdate, category, home state, and physical standards to run precise, multi-factor calculations, showing which exams match your strengths best and how much exact age limit buffer you have remaining.
How the Comparison Flow Works
- 1
Choose Your Exams: Select between two and five exams from our list of major Central and State government exams.
- 2
Provide Your Profile: Enter your education, academic marks, birthdate, category, home state, and optional physical parameters (height, vision).
- 3
Select Your Strengths: Select the subjects you are good at to compute your matching percentage.
- 4
Get Ranks & Track: Advisor ranks your shortlist by fit. Tweak filters on-the-fly, save targets to your local checklist, or export a matched card image.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Why compare specific exams?
Preparing for exams with completely different syllabus patterns can divide your focus. Comparing exams helps you see if they share common subjects (like Maths, English, or General Knowledge). This way, you can prepare for them together without extra effort.
What is the "Age Buffer" and why does it matter?
The age buffer is the number of years remaining before you hit the maximum age limit. Advisor calculates this precisely by evaluating your exact Date of Birth against the exam's cutoff reference date (like August 1 or January 1), including category relaxations. A larger buffer means you have more attempts remaining.
How is the final fit score calculated?
The score combines your Syllabus Subject Alignment (70% weight) and Normalized Age Buffer remaining (30% weight). Alignment is primary, but the age buffer helps you prioritize exams you are in danger of aging out of soon.
Can I export and share my comparison list?
Yes. You can export a beautifully typeset infographic containing your profile metrics and matched exams by clicking "Export Card". It renders locally via HTML Canvas and downloads as a PNG image, which you can easily share on WhatsApp or Telegram.
